    Source of Recipe

    see below
from the perfect donut maker recipe book
that came with my perfect donut maker.
It bakes instead of frying and came with 2
pans and a icing decorating tube w/tips.

    donuts - basic, baked

    2 cups flour
    1/2 cup granulated white sugar
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    4 teaspoons vegetable oil

Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
Mix together flour, sugar and baking powder.
Next add egg, milk, oil and vanilla and mix vigorously until well blended.
Lightly coat donut pan with non stick oil.
Pour batter into molds up to 2/3's full.
Bake 8 minutes or until tops spring back when lightly touched.
Let cool. Remove and dip into glase or cinnamon and sugar, if desired.
    Decorate with your favorite toppings.
When donut pan is cool, wipe clean and repeat process for baking.
Makes 12 large donuts or 36 bite sized donuts.
