Cheese Steak Pizza

Recipe Introduction
Also known as a German Pizza Pie. Yummy!
List of Ingredients
16 ounce can Italian tomato sauce
1 pound chipped beef
1 small green or red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1 small onion, thinly sliced, separated into rings
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 large Italian bread crust, (shell approx. 12 inch diameter)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Recipe
Heat oven to 400.
In large skillet, brown beef over medium heat 6 minutes.
Add pepper and onion; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until beef is no longer pink
and vegetables are crisp-tender.
Season with salt and pepper.
Place crust on baking sheet.
Spread tomoato sauce over crust, getting as close to edges as possible.
Remove beef and vegetables from skillet
with slotted spoon; arrange on top of sauce.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in oven 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted, cut into 8 wedges.
Makes 4 servings.
