1 tablespoon Olive oil
4, 1/4 inch thickly sliced tomatoes, drained
4 cups biscuit baking mix
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 medium sweet green bell pepper, julienned
2 ounces thinly sliced salami
1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Lightly coat a 14 inch deep dish pizza pan with oil.
Use medium bowl to combine baking mix with cold water.
Stir with a wooden spoon until a dough forms. Turn out on
a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, about 2
minutes. Evenly pat dough into bottom of prepared pan.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Top with 1/2 cheese.
Then top with all pepper and salami.
Arrange reserved tomato slices on top.
Sprinkle with oregano, pepper and garlic powder.
Top with other 1/2 cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes or until crust is done and cheese is
melted and bubbly.
