6 to 8 - 8 oz. ham steaks
1 cup cranberry sauce
1/3 cup red wine
3 tablespoons brandy
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ginger
Mix all ingredients until smooth. Place ham steaks in a skillet over
medium heat. Pour sauce over steaks and simmer 5 minutes per side or
until done.
This sauce may also be used to glazed a whole baked ham (boneless or
bone-in) or a pork roast. Just brush glaze over meat during last 30
minutes of cooking.
Glaze will be sufficient to coat 6-8 ham steaks, a whole ham, or a
whole pork roast.
