Ham Steak w/Glazed Apples
3 Tablespoons butter
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tablespoons country-style Dijon mustard
2 cups cored and sliced 1/8 inch, tart apples (2 medium)
1 pound ham steak, 1/2 inch thick
In skillet melt butter until sizzling.
Stir in brown sugar and mustard.
Add apples.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until apples
are crispy tender (5 to 7 minutes).
Place ham steak in same skillet, arranging apples on ham
steak.
Cover; continue cooking until ham steak is heated through
(5 to 7 minutes).
