    Lemon Basil Pork Chops

    4, 1 1/4 inch thick boneless pork loin chops
    1/2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
    1 tablesppon melted butter
    2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
    1 teaspoon dried basil
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1/2 cup marinara sauce

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 375. Grease a 15x10x1 inch baking pan.
    Combine bread crumbs, butter, lemon peel and basil together
    and place in a shallow dish.
    Use a small bowl to combine egg and juice.
    Brush chops with egg mixture.
    Then dip in crumb mixture to coat top and sides.
    Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
    Flip over and continue baking for 15 - 20 minutes, until
    a meat thermometer reaches 160 degrees F.
    Heat marinara sauce in a small saucepan and serve over chops.
    Makes 4 servings.
