List of Ingredients
Sausage Linginine
1 pound your favorite sausage, hot or mild
...(I use hot Italian)
1/2 cup butter or margerine
1 clove chopped garlic(I used four cloves)
1 med onion chopped(I omitted the onion)
1/2 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Basil
1/2 tsp Tarragon
1/4 cup Parsley( it looked like Mary Ann used fresh Oregano, Basil,
Tarragon, and Parsley, so I used 1/2 tsp each of Oregano, Basil,
Tarragon, and 1 tsp or Parsley of the dried spices)
2 cups sliced mushrooms(I used a 4oz can of mushrooms)
8oz linguine
1cup heavy cream
Parmesan cheese to taste
black pepper to taste
I chop the garlic and measure all of my dried spices(except the black
pepper) and put in one small bowl
Take the casings off the italian sausage and brown while sausage is
cooking, make the linguine
when sausage is done, I brown the garlic(you would brown the onion also
at this time) and add the dried spices
Once the garlic and onion are cooked add the sausage to this pan and
heat through
Then add the linguine, heavy cream, black pepper and parmesan cheese
This serves 4 to 6 people
