Sausage w/Pasta + Sweet Peppers
1, 8 ounce package large bow tie pasta
3/4 pound sausage links
1 chopped medium red sweet bell pepper
1 chopped medium green sweet bell pepper
1 chopped onion
1/2 cup vegetable or chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 Tablespoon dried parsley
Cook pasta al dente to package directions. Drain and
keep warm. Cut the sausage into 1 inch pieces. In a
large skillet cook sausage, bell peppers and onion over
a medium/high heat until sausage is brown. Drain.
Add the broth, ground pepper and parsley to skillet.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for
5 minutes. Remove from heat. Pour over pasta. Stir
gently to coat.
