2 tbsp. shortening
3 cups cubed ham
2/3 cup chopped green pepper (I use more)
1 tea prepared mustard
2 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
1/4 tea black pepper
1 can pineapple chunks
(save juice to mix with water)
1 1/2 cups combined water and pineapple juice
Melt shortening, add ham and green pepper and brown lightly.
Stir in cornstarch, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard and pepper. Gradually stir
in liquid and cook 'til thickened.
Add pineapple chunks and cook 'til hot.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
