Custard Pudding

Custard Pudding
3 beaten eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups scalded milk
3/4 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
You will need 6, 4 ounce custard cups and a pan large
enough to hold the cups with some room between and
around the cups. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly. Strain and
then pour into the cups to about 1/2 - 3/4 full. Place the
cups in the pan and pour 1 inch of almost boiling water
into the pan. Keep uncovered and bake for 30 - 35
minutes, or until a sharp knife inserted comes out clean.
Makes 6 servings.
