    Rhubarb Banana Dessert

    1 quart cut rhubarb
    4 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 cup sugar
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 Tablespoons butter

    Grease a shallow baking dish. Then alternate rhubarb
    and bananas, ending up with rhubarb on top.
    Combine sugar and salt and sprinkle over top.
    Dot with butter and cover.
    Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Then uncover
    and bake 30 minutes more or until syrup thickens.
