    6 c. diced rhubarb
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
    1 tbsp. grated orange peel
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. melted butter
    2 2/3 c. soft bread crumbs
    whipped cream, ice cream or milk for topping

    Recipe



    Place the rhubarb, sugar, tapioca, orange peel and salt in the crockpot/slow cooker and mix well.
    Mix together the vanilla and butter.
    Add the bread crumbs to the vanilla mixture and mix well.
    Sprinkle evenly over top of rhubarb mixture.
    Cover and cook on high for about 2 hours.
    Serve warm with the topping of your choice.
