    Rhubarb Cake #3

    2 cups flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 cup milk
    1 egg
    2 1/2 cups rhubarb in 1 inch pieces
    1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon

    Preheat oven to 400°.
    Mix flour, soda and salt.
    Cream brown sugar and butter, add egg.
    Add flour mixture alternately with milk, stir in vanilla and rhubarb.
    Sprinkle with sugar cinnamon mixture.
    Bake for 40 minutes.
