2 cups uncooked long grain white rice
1 cup chopped onion
4 cups water
1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules
1 teaspoon garlic pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons tomato sauce
4 tablespoons butter
Saute onion in butter until tender. Add rice
and cook until lightly brown, stirring
constantly. Mix bouillon, water, and tomato
sauce and add to rice mixture. Stir in pepper
and salt. Lightly stir to combine and then do
not stir again. Cover and low simmer for 20 to
30 minutes.
