6 slices of bread
1/2 lb. marshmallows
1/4 c. margarine
2 1oz. squares bitter chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
Recipe
Well grease an 8x8x2" pan.
Cut bread into fine cubes. Toast until crisp in a 300, slow oven.
Melt the marshmallows, margarine and chocolate in top of a double boiler,
stirring until well blended.
Remove from the heat and add the vanilla.
Fold in the toasted bread cubes,stirring until the cubes are well coated.
Press firmly into the pan.
Cut into squares when cold or shape into small 1" diameter balls. If desired
the roll balls in dry cocoa or malted milk powder.
