Recipe Introduction
her comments:I have been wanting to send in this recipe for a long
time. I got this recipe from a lady who was in her
90's and that was over 20 years ago. This was a recipe
that she used during the war...when times were tough!
It is a spiced cake and
GOOD warm. This lady was an old Wyoming Rancher's
wife...and gave me Her Mother's cook book from a 1900
Chicago Newspaper (can't remember the name) I have
never seen a cook book like it...the recipes are for
365 days...3 meals a day. And the recipes are done in
paragraph form written like a letter with the
ingredients in the sentences...I love it!
