Puffed Rice Candy Bars
6 c. puffed rice
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. molasses
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Put puffed rice in a long pan and crisp at 350 degrees. Mix
sugar, vinegar and water in large saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Boil for approximately 5 minutes. Take pan off the stove.
Add molasses and vanilla. Return to the stove. Bring to a
boil. Boil until sauce becomes brittle in cold water. Add
puffed rice. Stir good. Spread into a long pan. Push down
while still hot and cut into squares.Recipe
