2 pounds strip steak, thinly sliced
5 pita pockets
12 ounces Italian dressing
1/2 head lettuce, thinly sliced
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 cup sour cream
Slice steaks crosswise against the grain; place slices in a shallow bowl or pan. Pour salad dressing over steak slices so that meat is covered completely. Marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator.
After about 3 hours prepare grill, heating until coals are white. When 4 hours have passed drain steak and place on hot grill. Grill to desired doneness. Serve warm or cold in a pita pocket with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.
