List of Ingredients
5 lb. hamburger
2 small onions, finely chopped
4 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 64oz. can tomato paste
1 64oz. can tomato puree
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. pepper
3 tbsp. + 1 tsp. salt
Recipe
Brown hamburger, onions and celery in a very large skillet. Drain off fat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 3 1/2 hours. Stir frequently, as it will tend to stick.
Makes about 25 cups and freezes well.
