Ham Gravy**
Source of Recipe
my own concoction
This is the recipe I have been giving out to my family
and friends when they ask for it. Amounts were mostly
guessed, as I did it by eye and smell, but they told me
it turns out just fine. It should have a pinkish tinge
and smell slightly of cloves...tastes great!
Ham Gravy**
1, 46 ounce can unsweetened pineapple juice
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
1 packet or cube of ham seasoning
1/3 - 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Mix all together. Pour into roasting pan with
ham and bake and baste as usual.
Thicken as you would any other gravy. I use a
cornstarch and water mixture, which you can
usually find on the side of any cornstarch box.
May be frozen.
