    Pasta with Creamy Tomato Sauce

    I made some alterations to the original recipe.

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. ziti or bow tie pasta, cook al dente to pkg. directions
    1 tbsp. olive oil
    3 coarsely chopped garlic cloves
    1 28oz. can chopped plum tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
    6 tbsp. apple juice
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 tbsp. dried parsley
    salt and pepper
    freshly grated Parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    Heat oil in a dutch oven size pan over medium/high heat.
    Add garlic and saute for 2 to 3 minutes, until soft.
    Add the tomatoes and pepper flakes.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes on medium heat.
    Combine hot pasta, hot tomato sauce and the apple juice and toss
    to coat.
    Stir in the cream and parsley and heat through.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper and grated cheese.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
