List of Ingredients
for the dough:
3 c. flour
1 c. water
for the meat filling:
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 chopped onion
1/2 lb. finely chopped spinach or cabbage
1 minced garlic clove
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger
2 chopped green onions, no roots
2 tsp. ground cilantro or 2 tbsp. freshly chopped

for the dough:
Mix the flour and the water together.
Knead and form into a ball.
Let rise covered with a wet towel or plastic wrap for 30 minutes.
Bring a large steamer pot of water to the boil.
Cut dough into 12 - 18 pieces and roll into small flat circles.
for the meat filling:
Mash all ingredients together.
Place a spoonful of filling on each dough circle.
Fold over and crimp to seal.
Place the dumplings in the steamer and steam on a high heat for 30 minutes.
Serve with a mild tomato salsa or soy sauce.
