    Barbecue Beef Stew

    oil
    1 onion diced
    2 to 3 pounds chuck filet (cubed)
    1/4 cup brown sugar (add more or less to taste)
    3 Tbsps mustard (not spicy)
    1 to 2 cups water
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 can tomato paste
    1 Tablespoon flour/water for thickening

    Heat oil in a Dutch oven type pot. Add onion until browned.
    Add meat and brown on all sides. Add sugar, mustard, water,
    Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste.
    Stir well and simmer on low for approximately 1 1/2 hours,
    or until meat is tender.
    Blend in flour/water to gravy to thicken.

    This goes great with egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
