Cabbage + Vegetable Soup
4 slices of bacon, cooked & crumbled
1 pound ground beef, cooked and crumbled
Place bacon and ground beef in a large kettle or
crockpot/slow cooker.
Add:
1 large onion, chopped
3 large potatoes, cubed
4 cups cabbage, shredded
3 bouillon cubes
3 cups water
1, 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes or 1 qt. tomato juice
1 small can kidney beans
season to taste
Cook until all is tender and ready to eat.
(I cook all afternoon in slow cooker.)
