Corn Chowder #3, plain
1/4 cup butter
1 small diced onion
1 cup diced potato
1 cup diced celery
1 teaspoon thyme
1 bay leaf
3 cups water
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
1, 16 ounce can whole kernel corn
1, 16 ounce can creamed corn
Melt the butter and saute the onion until translucent.
Add the potato, celery, thyme, bay leaf, water and bouillon.
Simmer until the potatoes are cooked.
Remove the bay leaf.
Add the corns and stir.
Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
