    List of Ingredients




    2 lbs. ground chuck
    2 chopped green peppers
    1 large chopped onion
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 29oz. can tomato sauce
    1 29oz. can diced tomatoes, with juice
    2 15oz. cans beef broth
    1 tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. cooked white rice

    Recipe



    Brown the meat in a dutch oven or a soup pot over a medium/high heat.
    Drain off the fat.
    Add the green peppers, onions and garlic powder to the meat
    and sauté for 3 - 4 minutes.
    Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and juice, broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt and pepper.
    Reduce the heat to low.
    Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
    Stir in the cooked rice and serve.
    Makes 8 servings.
