Ham Stew, golden
4 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 1/2 cups diced potatoes
2 meduim chopped onions
water
1, 10 ounce package frozen peas, thawed
2 cups or more, cubed leftover ham
1, 10 3/4 ounce can undiluted cream of celery soup
1, 8 ounce jar process cheese spread
Use a Dutch oven or similar type pot.
Combine the carrots, potatoes, onions.
Add just enough water to cover the vegetables.
Cover and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 10 - 15 minutes.
Add the peas and ham and cook for 5 more minutes.
Drain the water.
Stir in the soup and cheese and heat through.
Makes 4 - 6 servings.
