    Quick + Easy French Onion Soup

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 sliced onion
    3 tbsp. butter
    2 14 1/2oz. cans beef broth
    1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 small loaf party bread slices, (rye or your choice)
    Swiss cheese slices

    Recipe

    Saute the onion slices in the butter until golden and transparent.
    Place the broth in a medium saucepan.
    Add the Worcestershire sauce and garlic to the broth.
    Let simmer while cooking the onion slices.
    Add the sauteed onions to the broth mixture and let simmer until flavors are blended.
    Pour the soup in oven safe bowls.
    Place slices of the bread to cover the top of the soup.
    Add a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each bowl.
    Broil until the cheese is melted and golden.
