    Stuffing, Wild Rice #5, w/bread

    1 Loaf bread; dried and cubed
    1 medium Onion; chopped
    1 teaspoon Sage
    1 tablespoon Parsley
    4 stalks celery; chopped
    2 cups Wild rice; cooked
    1/2 pound Butter, melted
    1 cup chicken broth or stock
    Apples; optional
    1/2 cup Raisins optional

    In a large mixing bowl, stir together the bread, onion,
    sage, parsley, celery and wild rice. Combine the butter
    with the broth. Gently toss liquid mixture with the
    bread mixture. Toss in apples and raisins if desired.
    Carefully stuff turkey or chicken; do not pack too tightly
    - keep it loose or the stuffing gets sticky.
    If you don't want to stuff the bird, bake the dressing
    separately in covered casserole for about an hour.
    Makes 8 servings.
