To Change the table lamp's base color:

Have a table lamp(s) you like the shape of
but the color does not coordinate with the
room you want it in?

You could paint it in a color you want. But
what happens if you are not happy with the
results? You would then have to strip it.

Instead, try this:
Wrap the lamp(s)in heavy duty aluminum
cooking foil.
Make it as textured, (crinkled) as you want.
Be sure to cover other parts of the lamp with
masking tape so the paint does not get on them.

Paint over the foil with a heavy coat of textured
granite or use light coatings of a spray paint
made for metal.

You will be pleasantly surprised by the new look!
If you want another color at a later time, you can
just paint again!
