Clean plain covers with rubbing alcohol.
Cover with a coating of a metal primer.
Paint whatever design you desire on the covers.
Let completelely dry.
Then seal with a clear craft varnish.
Most of these items may be found at retail stores with a crafts
department, or your local craft stores.
