Turn old keys into a wind chime.
This wind chime sounds like angels whispering!
Very simple and cheap to make, too.
List of Ingredients
Key Wind Chime
You will need:
a minimum of 12 keys or more, need not be same metal
...use old keys, (house, car, etc go to your local key maker and
...ask for the blown/bad copies)
a piece of thick twig, with ends notched
fishing line or heavy duty thread
Take a piece of the line/thread and tie a loop between the
notches for the hanger part.
Turn twig over.
String the keys at least 1 inch apart on varying lengths of
fishing line or thread.
You should have 1 key on a strand.
Tie each key string to the twig, leaving a 1/2 inch between.
The keys need to touch each other slightly to get this sound, so
make sure you have attached enough keys to the twig.
Hang outside or just inside your front door.
When the wind blows or the door opens, the Angels
