Craft - Plastic Medicine Bottle Ornament

    Source of Recipe

from a craft tips galore newsletter reader

    List of Ingredients

    you will need:
    old plastic medicine bottles
    beads or buttons or stones,
    ...your choice, etc. for decoration

Soak the bottles to get all the labels off.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Cover a old cookie sheet(s) with foil.
(How many sheets depends on how many bottles you have.)
Then coat the foil with cooking spray.
(You don't want anything to stick to the cookie sheet.
Place the bottles on the sheets, whichever way you want,
on the sides, upright, upside down.
Place the cookie sheet(s) in the oven until the plastic is
    1/2 melted down.
Remove and let cool for about 20 minutes.
If you want to use these for hanging, try poking a hole in
it, making sure it is of a large enough size to
    put a hanger in it.
Place your desired decorations on top of the semi melted
    plastic.
Return to the oven and turn the heat Off.

You should get some pretty decorations, and the kids or
    grandkids will LOVE them.
