Dress up your window shades.
You simply replace the vinyl shade with the fabric of your choice.
Cut washed and dried fabric the length and width needed plus
allow for side and bottom hems.
If you want it to darken the room, cut another length of another
color cloth and sew the 2 together on the sides and bottom.
Hem sides and bottom either by sewing or with fusible web.
Be sure to press the cloth(s) so it is flat.
Then remove the vinyl shade from the roller and staple the unsewn
end of the fabric onto the roller.
It will work just like the vinyl shade. Recipe
