Recipe Introduction
These look like the big ones you get in Mexico when finished.
List of Ingredients
craft - Tissue Paper Flowers
Fold the tissue paper to the size you want, (4 to 6
layers thick, for how full you wish it to be).
Cut the petal's shape with the fold at the bottom.
You will have two petals connected in the middle,
which makes putting them together much easier.
Roll the petal end around a pencil or dowel. Scrunch
it up. Unroll carefully. Repeat on all petals.
Use a piece of waxed paper to protect your work surface.
Lay the bottom, outside of flower, down.
Place a dot of hot glue on.
Position second petal pair and hot glue.
Continue to the fullness/size you wish.
Let the glue cool.
Gather the folded part, where you glued, and shape flower.
Wrap a green chenille stem around the fold for the stem.
You may then make leaves and attach to the stem.
For a fantasy look, use some ombre striped tissue paper
and make flowers from that. Looks great!
You can vary the shape of the petals to make different kinds
or looks of flowers--big round ones, long skinny ones, in
between - wherever your imagination takes you.Recipe
