List of Ingredients
Baking pies in a microwave oven
Make a pie of any fresh fruit,
(apple, blueberry, can use frozen, etc.)
Make sure the crust is well sealed.
Cut vents in the upper crust.
Place on the turntable in the microwave and cook, (bake),
on high, for l4 minutes.*
Remove. Brush on milk or cream and sprinkle with sugar.
Place in a 425 degree oven for about 10 minutes to brown.
*If you use canned pie filling, microwave for l2 minutes.
You should have a turntable microwave so you do not
have to turn it by hand.
Also, the upper crust may rise as if it will burst, but that
is fine.
Try making a Dutch apple pie like this.
Make sure to cover the apples well with the streusel.
You bake in the microwave first, and then the oven to
make the topping crisp, as in the above directions.
