    Substitute for Toothpick Fastening

    When rolling food that you would normally
    use a toothpick to fasten it closed, use:

    an uncooked piece of spaghetti pasta

    It will hold together a rolled dish such
    stuffed cabbage rolls or chicken cordon bleu.
    It will cook with the meat and no need to worry
    about sharp toothpicks in the finished dish.
