    Into a ziplock type bag, make a mixture of:
    1/2 water
    to
    1/2 Isopropyl alcohol

    The alcohol keeps the water from freezing solid
    A N D
    It remains soft enough, and cold enough, to use
    for any ice bag/pack need; AND it uses very little
    space in the freezer, yet is always available for
    any emergency use.
