    ground - Turkey Swiss Lasagna

    1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground turkey or chicken
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 large minced garlic cloves
    1, 28 ounce can seasoned tomato sauce
    2, 28 ounce cans crushed tomatoes
    1, 16 ounce container Ricotta cheese
    3 well beaten eggs
    2 teaspoons garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
    salt and pepper
    1 pound, shredded Mozzarella cheese, (16 ounces)
    1 - 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1 1/2 cups sliced or shredded Swiss cheese, (12 ounces)
    1 pound lasagna noodles, cooked al dente, drained
    1 tablespoon Olive oil

    Preheat oven to 350. Use a 9x12x2" glass baking pan, or the next size up.
    Brown the meat, chopped onions and garlic together.
    Add the tomato sauce and the crushed tomatoes; and simmer for 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
    Use a large bowl and mix together the ricotta cheese and the eggs.
    Add the garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, the Mozzarella cheese, and 2 tbsp. of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well and set aside.
    Place a little sauce in the bottom of the pan.
    Lay an overlapping noodle layer.
    Spread on 1/2 of the ricotta cheese mixture.
    Pour on sauce and spread around a bit.
    Sprinkle with 1/3 of the Swiss cheese.
    Sprinkle with some Parmesan cheese.
    More over lapped noodles.
    The other 1/2 of the ricotta cheese mixture.
    More of the sauce on and spread around.
    1/3 of the Swiss cheese.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan again.
    One last layer of overlapped noodles.
    Spread some sauce around the top of the noodles.
    Sprinkle with the Swiss cheese and then the Parmesan cheese.
    Bake or 30 - 40 minutes.
