leftover/crustless - Turkey + Stuffing Pie
2 cups cut-up cooked turkey
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried sage leaves or 1/4 tsp ground sage
1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/4 cups milk
3 eggs
1 cup biscuit baking mix
Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
Grease a 10x 1 1/2 in pie plate.
Mix turkey, celery, onion and seasonings in plate.
Beat remaining ingredients for 15 seconds in a blender
/food processor on high, or 1 minute with a hand beater.
Pour liquids into the pie plate DO NOT MIX!
Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean! about
30-35 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes.
Makes 6 - 8 servings!
Potato Pancakes to go with this!
Add a couple eggs to the mashed potatoes until mushy.
Then add flavoured bread crumbs to the mix.
Fry in a pan until heated thru and browned a little on
both sides.
