Carrots, w/brown sugar
4 cans (15 oz. size) carrots
1/2 cup butter, (1 stick)
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
Drain carrots but reserve 4 Tbs. of liquid.
Combine the tablespoons of liquid with the butter,
brown sugar and ginger. Heat thoroughly.
Add carrots, stirring gently and cook 3 minutes.
Serve hot.
Makes 8 servings.
