Cauliflower, stewed
1 head cauliflower
1 large chopped onion
1/2 cup butter
2 cups canned tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup water
Wash and separate cauliflower into flowerets.
Saute onion and cauliflower in butter until lightly browned.
Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and water.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until tender.
Makes 4 servings.
