6 slices HORMEL® Fully Cooked Bacon , crumbled
1 package frozen sliced or baby carrots (16 ounces)
1/2 cup sliced green onions (or 1 small onion finely chopped)
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Prepare carrots according to package directions and drain.
Meanwhile, in large skillet, melt 2 T. butter or margarine and
saute chopped onion until tender. Add carrots, brown sugar,
bacon and pepper to skillet. Stir thoroughly and cook until
heated through (about 5 minutes), stirring occasionally. Serve.
Makes 4 servings.
