    List of Ingredients




    4 chopped turnips
    1 lb. diced bacon, cooked to desired tenderness, reserve the fat
    1/2 c. packed light brown sugar

    Recipe



    Cook the turnips in salted water until tender but still firm.
    Drain, and then transfer to a large bowl.
    Combine the bacon, 4 tbsp. of the bacon fat and the brown sugar together and stir into turnips.
    Makes 10 servings.
