Great Corn on the Cob
6 ears fresh or frozen sweet corn
...(if using frozn, thaw first)
1/2 teaspoon granulated white sugar
water
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1/4 cup butter
grated Parmesan cheese
Boil water. Add corn and sugar.
Cook 3 minutes.
Remove from water and place in rectangular dish.
Sprinkle with spices.
Add butter.
Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Cover with foil and place in warm oven until ready
to serve.
Makes 6 servings.
Note: Remember when salting corn that Parmesan cheese is also salty.
