2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup uncooked rice
2 tablespoons diced sweet bell pepper,
...green or red or both
1/8 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1, 12 to 15 ounce can chicken broth
1 cup frozen peas
In a saucepan, brown rice and pepper with sage in butter.
Add broth. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Stir in peas. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, or until peas
are done to your liking, stirring occasionally.
Makes about 3 cups.
