Potatoes, fried, Italian style
4 to 5 sliced medium potatoes
2 Tbsps. Olive oil
1/2 tsp. dry minced garlic
3 med. Italian frying peppers
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1, 16 ounce can chopped/diced tomatoes
pinch granulated white sugar
1 cup water
Brown potatoes slightly in skillet with oil. Add
garlic, peppers, salt, pepper, tomatoes, water and
sugar. Simmer until peppers and potatoes are done.
Serve with green vegetables or a salad or as a side dish.
