1 well beaten egg
1/4 cup milk
2 cups biscuit mix
2 teaspoons dried parsley
2 cups chopped sweet onions, (2 large)
2 tablespoons butter
1 egg
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
paprika, optional
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400. Grease a 9 inch square pan.
Blend the egg, milk, biscuit mix and parsley together.
Pour mixture into the pan.
Melt the butter and saute the onions until tender and
lightly browned. Spread onions on top of the biscuit
mix in the pan.
Whisk together the egg and sour cream.
Sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
Spread over top of the onions.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Cut into squares, sprinkle with a little paprika, and serve.
Makes 6 servings.
