Easy candied sweet potatoes, a family favorite.

Sweet Potatoes - candied #2, baked, easy

6 medium sweet potatoes
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon Salt

Peel potatoes and cut in slices about 1/2 inch thick.
Lay in an iron skillet or shallow casserole dish.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 minutes.
Uncover and continue baking for about 30 minutes,
or until potatoes are tender.
Makes 6 servings.
