    Sweet Potatoes - candied #4, baked

    4 medium sweet potatoes
    1/2 cup butter, (1 stick)
    1 cup granulated white sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
    1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    2 Tablespoons flour

    Boil sweet potatoes about 10 minutes.
    Remove skin and slice.
    Heat oven to 325 degrees.
    Place sweet potato slices in shallow baking dish.
    Melt butter in microwave.
    Mix with white and brown sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and flour.
    Pour mixture over sweet potatoes.
    Bake 1 hour.
    Makes 6 servings.
